Help Changing File Associations

I have two types of file....XEX and HYP and somehow both types are linked to open with the same wine program.

But they are different type and need two different programs.

When I change the file association for the XEX then the HYP tries to open with it also.

When I change the file association for the HYP then the XEX tries to open with it.

How can I straighten this mess out?

  • Are you trying to open the .XEX and .HYP files with a native Linux File Manager or winefile / explorer?
  • How are you changing the file associations for these extensions?
