PES 2017 is too slow, and settings doesn't run.

Post by mmdamin »

Hi. I tried to play PES 2017 on Wine on Arch Linux.
I have nvidia gt610 with nvidia-390 and drivers. lib32-nvidia390-utils is installed also.
Wine-Mono is installed. but I can't install .net framework 4.0 and directx by their installers. (without wine-mono I can install .net framework but it doesn't works and mscoree says wine-mono is not installed)
I get this error from Settings.exe for configuration:

Code: Select all

According to the WineHQ AppDB Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 will run in a clean 32bit Wineprefix
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... &iId=18449
but I can't install .net framework 4.0 and directx by their installers
Did you try winetricks to install dotnet and directx?

Maybe not directly related to your issue, but it doesn't harm if you fix these errors.

I can't use winetricks for now, because I can't download installers from internet. I don't have enough data charge.
I tried offline installers I have on my local disk, I've searched and found instructions on dotnet and directx installation.
I've found I need to change windows version to Windows XP, to installer replace mscoree.
for DirectX, I read I have to add this to user.reg:

related files (for example dinput8.dll or d3xof.dll) is exists in ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32/ and syswow64 but when I try to start settings and PES errors that could find them.
I've switched them to builtin, they started, but still it's slow and texts in settings is unreadable.
