program error when opening a pop up

Hello, im sorry if i am posting that in the wrong place, but i am new here... i have installed pokerstars through wine and it seems to work just fine, but when a pop up appears i get a message: "The program pokerstars has enconutered a serious problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience." "this can be caused by a problem in the program or a deficiency in wine. You may want to check the application database ..." for some reason, i can sometimes just ignore the previous message and keep playing, but sometimes it completely crashes the window.

Pokerstars 7 (Build 24978) [Downloaded on Dec 19, 2018]
Server Version 1100C

wine-3.0 (Ubuntu 3.0-1ubuntu1)

After Pokerstars downloaded the version listed above the program started and a popup appeared on the screen.
"We are discontinuing support for the Operating System currently running on your
computer. Please upgrade to Windows Vista or a later version of Windows.
Alternatively, you may continue to play using one of our mobile apps."

I am not sure what version of Windows the PokerStars software thinks I have but is there a way to correct the problem?

In winecfg you can set your Windows version

Thank you, I had forgotten about that option, it worked.
I did lose all my PokerStars option/configuration data for some reason, my backup file didn't work either. Not sure why. The game acted like it was a new install.
