Doom 2016 Mouse Glitches
Hi, I'm not really sure this is the right place for this post, but I recently installed Doom 2016 on computer, and running it through Wine staging 2.21 has gotten me pretty good results, but for some reason the mouse seems to get stuck on the edge of the screen, and messes up my aim. Whenever I move the mouse cursor away from the edge of the screen, it moves just fine, but as soon as it reaches the end, I have to move the mouse much faster to actually move the crosshair. Does anyone have any advice? I've already tried running the game in a virtual desktop, enabling "automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows" and trying all of the different window modes in game.
Re: Doom 2016 Mouse Glitches
You could try an other version of Wine, i use to have the same kind of issue with FFXIV from staging version 2.11 to 2.24. it wasn't the mouse cursor but the screen it self that glitch when moving the mouse. I'v solved by 3 ways (still staging): With Wine 1.9.21, Wine 2.10 and Wine 3.3 and probably above (didn't test, I've ended my subscription to FF).
Maybe you could test.

Re: Doom 2016 Mouse Glitches
I'm having a similar issue. Probably the same thing.
Often when moving the mouse slowly it gets stuck. I have to make a fast move to unstick it. DOOM is not the only game I've had this problem with. It was also extremely bad in Assassin's Creed II. I first noticed this problem after I bought a new mouse. I wonder if having a higher DPI mouse is contributing to the problem. I would switch back to the old mouse to test, but unfortunately I don't have it any more.
I found the following other threads and bug reports which seem to describe the same problem.

@duongduythao @unlimitedbacon
Please re-test (any affected games) with Wine Staging 3.15 - as it will include this winex11 patchset.
Thanks
Bob
