WineD3D on Windows renderer:

and Mesa3D (software opengl renderer)
http://fdossena.com/?p=mesa/index.frag
I looked in the wine wiki for OpenGl sections to add that piece of information there, but it seems the old pages are almost completely gone, obviously due to heavy restructuring.

https://wiki.winehq.org/Third_Party_Applications
Would that be the right page for mentioning/linking to this new WineD3D on Windows contribution?

Re: Someone compiled a new WineD3D on Windows version
Yes, that would be the place to list it.

Maybe it would also be a good idea for someone with wiki editing rights to remove the entry from the "Obsolete Third Party Applications" section to http://www.nongnu.org/wined3d/dimesio wrote:Yes, that would be the place to list it.
and instead link Dossena's website from the "current" section.

Re: Someone compiled a new WineD3D on Windows version
Well, I used some old version (I think 1.1.x) to get an old game to run on Win7 back then, so old versions can still be useful.Maybe it would also be a good idea for someone with wiki editing rights to remove the entry from the "Obsolete Third Party Applications" section to http://www.nongnu.org/wined3d/

I think you overlooked the stern warning at the top of that section:latte wrote:Maybe it would also be a good idea for someone with wiki editing rights to remove the entry from the "Obsolete Third Party Applications" section to http://www.nongnu.org/wined3d/
That warning is the whole point of listing obsolete apps, because people unfortunately still stumble on them and try to use them. So no, I am not going to remove any of those items. These applications are no longer useful, unmaintained, and do not work with current Wine releases. You should not use these.
I did add an entry for the new one to the current section.
