C: Drive

I have a windows software that is setup to operate by reading files from a windows directory structure: the C: drive.

Will I be able to run it in Wine?

Wine creates a fake c: drive in the wineprefix that mimics the structure of a real Windows install. It includes fake dlls to fool apps that expect to find them in c:\windows\system32 or c:\windows\syswow64.

However, the only way to be sure your program will run in Wine is to test it in Wine.
