FalloutNV troubles

Post by LostEcho »

Hi and sorry me for my English.
I have some troubles with Fallout: New Vegas
Archlinux x86_64
Wine 2.18
I launch the game and it works perfectly except mouse. It dont work properly, so I do that: winecfg ----> libraries and trying to configure dinput8. When it "native" or "native then builtin" game work fine (except mouse of course). But if I trying to make it "builtin" or "builtin then native" Fallout cant launch and I see that error in terminal: 3d:wined3d_check_device_format_conversation wined3d 0x155900, adapter_idx, device type WINED3DFMT_B5G6R5_UNORM...
How can I fix that?

Problem solved.
winecfg ----> libraries -----> dinput8 (builtin then native) and dinput (builtin\builtin then native)
But mouse still works a little bit odd ( I think because mouse acceleration)

What are the symptoms of your input issues?
Possibly they are due to the switch, Arch has made, to using the: xf86-input-libinput ; X input library?

Why? Overriding random dynamic link libraries isn't going to help very much.
