Hi, everyone.
I'm using wine and I don't want the programs to have access to all my files. So I edited the drive configuration using winecfg, deleting most of the bindings.
But as long as I run winecfg again, all the bindings go back. I looked at /path/to/prefix/dosdevices. It seems that deleting them do work, but when I run winecfg again, the symlinks appear again.
Is this by design or a problem? What should I do?
btw, I also use winetricks. When running winecfg through winetricks for non-default prefixes, an error message shows up in the drives page which reads "Failed to connect to the mount manager, the drive configuration cannot be edited". This is kind of good to me because then I can manually config it by editing the symlinks.
Winecfg automatically detect drives when startup?

Re: Winecfg automatically detect drives when startup?
I updated wine to 2.18 recently, and the problem seems to be solved.
