Internet Connection for Specific Programmes

Post by teetotal »

Hi all, I am trying to install the old game 'Pandora's Box' on my Mac (OSX 10.12.2 Sierra), as part of the 'Microsoft Software Jukebox' bundle. The game installs fine, but I cannot play as the 'Microsoft Software Jukebox' dialog tells me I should register, but am not connected to the internet?

I can run IE in Wine, so there is obviously connectivity there. What am I missing?

I have honestly looked through the FAQ and help pages, but am still stumped. Any help gratefully appreciated. I'm afraid I have very little tech knowledge,

In case anyone is looking for a solution to this in the future, the answer is to run by clicking 'play' from the SETUP.exe file. This bypasses the Jukebox window. No winetricks needed.
