Safest way to reinstall different version of wine
I currently have Wine 1.9.19 on Ubuntu 14.04 and noticed the icon Uninstaller on my winecfg panel. Can I select this icon and uninstall that way and then I reinstall the Wine 1.9.18 which I can do opening the archive with the Ubuntu Software Center? I am hoping this is possible to do a clean reinstall of the earlier Wine as researching the terminal commands, I see a risk if a line is typed incorrectly that could seriously hurt my system. Thanks for any help.

Wine's uninstaller doesn't uninstall Wine, it uninstalls Windows apps that are installed in Wine. To uninstall Wine, use your package manager if you installed a binary package or do make uninstall if you built Wine yourself.
