Effectiveness of hyperthreading with CSMT

So I've done a fairly broad search, and haven't found any real info on whether or not hyperthreading would have any significant benefit while running games with CSMT active. Looking into replacing my processor soon and wondered if anyone knew more on this subject.

Upon testing this myself, it appears that hyperthreading makes no apparent difference when using CSMT.
