winex11.drv:file not found

Hello,

I need your help...
I'm trying to run a game (Black Moon Chronicles)

I don't understand why some Wine file, couldn't be found by Wine...

Missing file are :
wined3d.dll
winex11.drv
and winealsa.drv

What distro? How did you installed Wine? With what exact commands? Have you installed all the Wine packages?

Distro : Ubuntu 7.10 (32bit)
I've following instruction on that page : http://www.winehq.org/site/download-deb

wget -q http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/387EE263.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -

sudo wget http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/sources.list.d/gutsy.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/winehq.list

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine

the installed version is wine-0.9.57
Have you installed all the Wine packages?
I hope so...

What video card? Does "glxgears" work?
How are you running Wine? With what exact command? Also what does it output if anything? The stuff you attached before is useless.

So the problem is what again? Where do you see from this output that something isn't found? Especially those dlls you were talking about?
Your original paste was with the warn channel turned on - which was just showing where it was trying to look for Wine's own dlls.

Each time I launche the game Ive a ''Crash.txt'' in ''.wine/drive_c/'Program Files'/BlackMoonChronicles'' and earch time, the file is growning with the same lines in it, so I was thinking that somethink was wrong with my wine.

If the file crash.txt is a normal think well why not but it seen to me that's very strange ^^

In the crash.txt file I can see those tree lines (each time)
7E0D0000 Image 933888 C:\windows\system32\wined3d.dll:file not found

7E4C0000 Image 155648 C:\windows\system32\winealsa.drv:file not found

7E650000 Image 524288 C:\windows\system32\winex11.drv:file not found

That's already too late - it crashed and generating it's own crash log. So whatever happens before that is the problem.
And of course it won't find those dlls - they are not on "c:" drive and never will be. Wine is not installed into ~/.wine. It's somewhere in /usr/lib/wine.... (depends how you installed it).

Where did you get that game? Is a free trial available?

There's a 2002 release of the game at

and it seems that there's a 2008 beta available at
http://www.blackmoon-online.com/

@Vitamin : I've install wine with the apt-get protocol (I am using Ubuntu)

I have got a '' .wine '' hiden folder in my home directory.
And I have a /usr/lib/wine too.

Maybe my system (or wine installation) is a bit.. up side down...?


@Dan Kegel : I get the game in the second website (the 2008 version)
