Nexuiz (2012) audio trouble: loud crackling noises
As soon as the game starts with sound, there's a bunch of crackling noises and makes the game unbearable.

Also, before it launches, it tells me that I'm using an unsupported card, do I need a DirectX 11 card? I have an NVIDIA 9800gt 1gb latest drivers.

Hi,
upgrade to latest wine, if you haven't already.
Your NVIDIA driver probably isn't installed properly, if you are on 64bit system, you may need some 32bit libgl stuff. I don't know about the game, maybe you'd need to set some Directx Version to DX9.0 or set graphical options to minimum.
There are a few other issues in your log, but you should first fix your drivers and post log again. There shouldn't be any messages about OpenGL setup being not correct.

I just reinstalled the Nvidia drivers, and still get the crackling noise. Not to mention the "Video card unsupported" error message.lahmbi5678 wrote:Hi,

Can you run the game again, using any opengl parameters (if they areYes, I have installed the 32bit libraries.
I'm not sure if the OpenGL errors apply to the game though.

Same stuff. I'm not sure what Cryengine 3 commands there are for OpenGL (if any).
I'm well aware of Xonotic, but I'd like to see other games (such as this) work on Wine as well.
