MTA SA will not install

I tried to install MTA SA and vcredist.exe I got a message saying unable to find volume for file extraction Please verify that you have proper pemissions.
I am logged in as Root on my Debian VPS. Can anyone help me please???

Don't do that! Root and Wine do not mix well.

OK thanks but my server is VPS it logs me in as root as standard idk how to do it any other way. am using VNC to connect via remote to the server and I also use PuTTy. Thanks for the advise i'll try to sort it :D

i managed to login as an admin user but still have the same issue :(
Anyone got any idea's what is wrong?

Sorry what is wineTricks?
You need to fix VPS so that it NEVER logs you in as root. Google
might help greatly in resolving this. That is a major security issue
and quite possibly will break Wine.
