Always show Virtual Desktop

Hello. I am using wine 1.7.38 and I set up a virtual desktop (So cool!!!!) Is there some way I can always show the desktop or put a shortcut to my Linux desktop to launch it? I am using Ubuntu 14.

The virtual desktop doesn't run by itself; you have to run something in Wine to display it. You can make desktop shortcuts for any apps you have installed in Wine, and if the wineprefix is configured to use an emulated virtual desktop globally, they will start in one.

I'm thinking about making a small invisible program and just run it to keep the desktop open.
