When I start the game nothing happens and after about 5 minutes the loading process stops. Here:

Did you try the AppDB workaround?

In order to get the game working you must enable DirectX 9 instead of DirectX 10:

Locate the Engine.ini file (drive_c/Program Files/Ubisoft/Related Designs/ANNO 1404/ or drive_c/users/%username%/Application\ Data/Ubisoft/Anno1404/Config/ )
Edit or add a key named DirectXVersion and set the value to 9

The game should run flawlessly then...

Thanks, but partial success. The game starts, you can hear the music, but the screen stays black. The game has to be ended with a key combination or the system has to be restarted. AppDB?

I was able to fix the black screen problem with the "winetricks d3dx9" command. What are the disadvantages and how can I avoid it? is it possible to put a command in a desktop shortcut where this command is only executed at this moment for this game? Or can you continue to use Dx9 for all other games?

winetricks d3dx9 replaces the built-in Wine DirectX 9 version with the Microsoft DirectX 9 version.
So you only have to execute it once. After this, all programs will use the Microsoft DirectX version.

Should you encounter problems with another program, install it in a new wineprefix.
