rpi3 winelib binaries are most likely linked to glibc, but Android is using bionic. You need to compile Wine for Android (you can do that on x86 too) and use the provided tools to generate Android style winelib binaries

I guess you have better chances running VirtualHere on Mac and get a patched Wine (for USB support)

I am using 32-bit OS.
That's no reason, you can do it anyway, you don't need a 64-bit Linux to crosscompile for 64-bit Windows

cpighin: don't use sudo for the link, check the output of dmesg after plugging in your adapter to see which tty* it got assigned to.

Sounds like either the app or the driver is not going through sane, maybe the app uses WIA, which is not supported in Wine yet.

well, i guess the advise was about installing windows in virtualbox on linux, not about installing virtualbox in wine.
wine is not XP
which epson scanner do you have? wine would need native linux drivers for your scanner to work with it AFAIK
