i know that Linux and WINE are not in love with ATI cards (yet), but i It's that ATI/AMD is notoriously not in love with GLX or OpenGL on Linux unless someone makes them stand-up like in the case of Rage in the Windoze world. I'm sure the WineD3D devs have stories of submitting bug reports to ATI. ...

You should probably ask the person who packages Wine for your specific distro. What you should be wondering, though, is if you actually need it. Wine can run easily through the file manager and terminal, and applications themselves tend to make shortcuts in a Wine submenu (unless this is exactly the...

Hi dimesio . Unfortunately I can't say if that fixed it or not, because TF2 had yet another patch just awhile ago. Whichever one did the trick, it works now. Fedora is also has the new Gallium-based open source drivers, which perform much better than the old open-sourc...

Have you tried if Wine works with a different prefix?
If that launches, the old prefix you copied over from Ubuntu has somehow become corrupt. I went from Ubuntu to Fedora installs without any issues, so I wonder what went wrong.

Then you can run the application in the appropriate locale by doing: LANG=ja_JP.SHIFT_JIS wine appname.exe Make sure you also have some Korean and Japanese fonts installed. You can find them in the Add/Remove applicati...
