Debian's Nvidia binary drivers from Synaptic don't work?

I've never had luck with the drivers from Nvidia in synaptic. Basically, when I launch TF2 using the drivers from Nvidia (su sh nvidia-drivers) it works flawlessly, however, when I uninstall the binary from the Nvidia website and install the synaptic packages, I can't get anything to launch, I even ...

Team Fortress 2 crashes completely at random

I've been having this issue for a while now, and I honestly can't figure out what it is. I tried to make a log file, but haven't been successful, I'll try again and post it. What happens is that I'm in a game of TF2, the keyboard and TF2 crash. I know that it's not the whole PC because I can hear Te...

Same stuff. I'm not sure what Cryengine 3 commands there are for OpenGL (if any).

I'm well aware of Xonotic, but I'd like to see other games (such as this) work on Wine as well.

Yes, I have installed the 32bit libraries.

I'm not sure if the OpenGL errors apply to the game though.

Hi, upgrade to latest wine, if you haven't already. Your NVIDIA driver probably isn't installed properly, if you are on 64bit system, you may need some 32bit libgl stuff. I don't know about the game, maybe you'd need to set some Directx Version to DX9.0 or set graphical options to minimum. There ar...

Nexuiz (2012) audio trouble: loud crackling noises

As soon as the game starts with sound, there's a bunch of crackling noises and makes the game unbearable.

Also, before it launches, it tells me that I'm using an unsupported card, do I need a DirectX 11 card? I have an NVIDIA 9800gt 1gb latest drivers.

lib32asound2 important? (Possible Permanent Pulseaudio fix)

Because as soon as I installed it, I was able to get all of my sounds to work properly, including Pulseaudio. It's a better fix than to just remove Pulseaudio all together, because it would mess up my multitasking for other programs that require sound. I'm assuming this because nowadays most people ...

Are bumps allowed?

Bump because I'd like a solution to this problem, unless the devs are working on it already.

I'm so far the only one who posted anything there, I'm hoping I could grab some attention for this game. I have the error in the comments section.

My wine version is 1.4, Linux Mint Debian Edition, NVIDIA drivers 295.33
