World of Warcraft 3.3.5 ptr crash

Dear people

I am new in this Forum, but old user of wine in Mandriva Linux.

At this time I want to ask, if some one have the problem to login in World of Warcraft 3.3.5 ptr

The problem appear when you write @ in the user account (necessary to login in battle.net account) the game is crash.


What can i Do :(

Hey,

See bug 21809 (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21809).

If you really need this fixed, you will have to recompile wine with the patch (possibly sync it with current git too...). Otherwise, best course of action is hope it doesn't go live.

Note, on some setups (Fedora apparently), just setting wldap32.dll to native fixes the issue. To try that, you will need a wldap32.dll from windows in your WoW folder, and set "wldap32" to native in winecfg. I can't guarantee this will work; for me it didn't.

I tried it on Fedora 14, wine-1.3.10 and WoW3.3.5. it works.
winecfg setteings:
operating system: XP
wldap32.dll : http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-f ... ml?wldap32
Libraries: wldap32(Native then Builtin)

I had the same problem. I followed a step by step and now it works good..
