Whenever I use Wine, the screen glitches

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 (Gnome 3, lightdm) and whenever I use Wine (any version) the screen glitches, it shows several black blocks that do not cover the whole screen for a while. It stops in some applications, but in games like Torchlight it goes on.

Also, not a Gnome 3 problem, I tried Unity and Gnome w/o effects too.
