Orion: Dino Horde black screens

I have followed the APPDB guide for installing O:DH, but I always get a black screen when running.

What I do:
--Have tried DirectX 9, 10, and 11
--Installed dotNet 4.0 and 3.0
--Installed VC and Xact

What happens:
--I get the normal splash screen, followed by a 720P window. I then hear a short blast of music (It cuts off), and the screen remains black. It remains black (As far as I can tell) indefinitely. I have also tried running it in windowed to make sure it isn't my computer bugging out.

OSX 10.9

16GB RAM
Intel HD4000 integrated graphics

I have a similar but significantly different problem with Orion Dino Horde on linux.
