Hi,

I'm not a Mac user, but afaik you should install winbind (samba package from Macports).

installing Samba will fix the ntlm_auth error... whether that fixes all the problem... who knows.

You haven't explained what the problem is; all you did was post console output. What, exactly, is the game doing, or not doing? If the game is working, don't worry about anything in the console.

dimesio, sorry for not explaining more aboyt the problem. I just simply not running the game. Shows the first GuildWars2 pic, and then tries to load the game, yet It stays on a black screen, after displaying all that from the console.

When I did all the MacPorts and wineHQ installation, I tried to run the game as the tutorial said: wine gw.exe, and nothing happend. Keeps displaying the fixme´s and the
"err:winediag:shader_generate_glsl_declarations The hardware does not support enough uniform components to run this shader, it may not render correctly."

What's your GPU? It just might not be capable of running the game with Wine. Just because it may work full DirectX in Windows does NOT mean it can run the game using Wine DX to OpenGL

is a AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB. MAC OSX Lion 10.7.4
Intel Core i7 - 2.3 GHz

Tought it would be capable of displaying the game after watching some youtube videos of MAC´s with a little bit less hardware capacity.

AMD drivers in OSX are horrid really... if your using a Wine version before 1.5.1, expect graphics problems. If your using later Wine, the graphics problems are fixed, but due to the driver issues the hardware won't render right and it'll fall back to software rendering meaning you'll be going about 5% to 10% the speed you should be going. Some of this issue is Wine (even though they completely deny it), but most of it rests in Apple's drivers for AMD... this problem doesn't happen with Intel or Nvidia.

These two are if your on a Macbook Pro with the dual GPUs....
One thing to try though, go in system preferences under Power and turn OFF the auto switching graphics, so it forces your AMD GPU to stay on all the time, and see if it works differently... sometimes the auto switching GPUs cause problems.

Another thing that may work, get gfxCardStatus and force on the Intel HD 3000 graphics, which in some games will run much better than the AMD due to the driver issues.

thanks doh123, i'll try that. Now I know what to do to try and fix the problem. I will install the latest version of Wine, and do the graphic card switching

bossinc, did you watch the video linked in viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16529 ?

Looks quite promissing, especially the part regarding the black window, quite amusing issue (seems it's possible to install the game despite the black window).

Try both solutions. None worked. I did the "-useoldlauncher" command line after the $wine Gw2.exe, and runs without the black screen, but it crashes. The intro music sounds, but the screen crashes.

I also tried the gfxCardStatus, to switch between graphic cards, and gives me the same result.

guess bootcamp is the last thing to try now.

In the linux forum a user reported that "-dx9single" worked around the crash.
