The latest stable Wine version is wine-1.4. Wine is available for download here: http://www.winehq.org/download

All other 3rd party Wine wrappers are not supported on this forum.

Thanks for your reply but when I go to the download page there are many choices which is the right one? I am a senior citizen, not a programmer so it is not clear to me, as to which one to click on.

I recommend obtaining and using MacPorts to install Wine on your Mac
system to run some Windows programs.

Macports sounds interesting but buildiing your own Wine is probably beyond me, having read the notes. Is there an easier way? My main problem is getting Sopcast to run on my Mac, I am not worried about games. I have a Mac Mini with Lion OS X 10.7. Can anyone please help?

Try one of the third party apps. http://wiki.winehq.org/ThirdPartyApplications

Do NOT use WineBottler. It is 'dead'...

Ask at MacPorts. They should have a guide there.
