Civilization IV Install Error in InstallShield under Wine

Hello all,
I am running Wine 1.4 on Ubuntu 12.04. I am trying to install Civilization 4 with a mounted disc image, and the InstallShield installer pops up. After waiting 5 seconds while it prepares the installation, an error message pops up stating "An error (-5006 : 0x8000ffff) has occured while running the setup.

1.4 is ancient. Current version is 1.7.21. Please upgrade Wine. Also, do not forget to read about your application/game in AppDB. AppDB often contains useful information. According to AppDB Civilization 4 has Gold rating with Wine 1.7.15: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager. ... &iId=10158 .

There's no way to know that until you try it. I can tell you it doesn't occur here, but Civ IV worked for me in 1.4, too. But I have an Nvidia card, and your problem may be the Intel graphics. If it doesn't work in 1.7.21, post terminal output. http://wiki.winehq.org/FAQ#get_log
