USB support on the latest wine?

hi i already checked the wiki about usb patches. and it seems very old and outdated . thats support only wine1.5 and older . how about wine 1.6 above ,? is there a chance for usb support ?

AFAICT, the author of those patches has stopped working on them. You could try contacting him to ask him to rebase the patches for current Wine. However, keep in mind that those patches were only for USB dongles, and will not help with other types of USB devices.

but is there any chance that wine will support usb ?

i have another question ..

how can i use JACK instead of pulseaudio on wine ? pulseaudio was too choppy when i play a games ..

is there any chance that i can use jack as my wine audio driver?

Wine is a volunteer project, so whether USB support is added depends on a developer deciding to work on it and sticking with it.

The JACK driver was removed from Wine a couple of years ago. There are instructions for forwarding ALSA to JACK that you could try: http://gamesplusone.com/alsa_to_jack.html. (I've never tested it, so I don't know whether/how well it works.)
