The latest update was two and a half months ago... wine 1.7.38
Wine's official PPA used to get updates pretty fast.
Did something happen to the people responsible for this PPA?
Should I just go for unofficial PPAs?
Thanks
Is Ubuntu PPA abandoned?
Re: Is Ubuntu PPA abandoned?
You can try contacting the package maintainers; there's a link to Scott Ritchie's email on our Downloads page.
You can use any PPA you want. There's nothing "official" about the links on our Downloads page; they are provided merely as a convenience. Just keep in mind that builds based on wine-staging are not supported here.
You could also build Wine yourself.
