Pinmame and Visual Pinball

I'm running wine 1.7.15 and got Virtual Pinball and Pinmame to work after installing wsh56vb with winetricks. The latest version of VP9 and the DX9 versions that are posted in their forums work excellent. The only problem I'm having is that the Pinmame DMD display window stays below the VP window when in fullscreen mode. In windowed mode, it stays on top. I'm running xfce/xfwm4 if that has anything to do with it. I've tried playing with the winecfg window manager options and virtual desktop, no difference.
