Sims 3 exe error

I have been using wine 1.4.1 ,and sims 3 has been working fine , until lately i get an error when launching "the program TS3.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I have just updated wine to 1.5.10 and still get this error any suggestions????
