I have some application reported in AppDB that depends on another application.
Like I Love Science! or The Way Things Work that depends on QuickTime 2.x 16-bit.

Which QuickTime 2.x has a bug #18260 that blocks it's installation.

Both I Love Science! and The Way Things Work depends on QuickTime 2.x for animation playing capability, if QuickTime 2.x cannot be installed (due to the bug), the animation capability in both program will be broken.

So, was it desirable to specify QuickTime's bug in both programs' AppDB entry's "Known bugs" list?
An advise would be appreciated.

Do these apps try to install Quicktime themselves? If so, then add a bug link.

Yes, QuickTime was a part of their installation, I will add the bug link.
Thanks.
