Hi! I have successfully run age of empires III on Linux and on OS X with the help of Wine. On OS X, I have made my own custom Wineskin wrapper.
Perhaps I can provide it to you?

Re: Can I Detect Host OS for Wine from Within Program?
If you're using winelib, then you can just use whatever POSIX functions allow you to do this, and that is well documented online. (You can always use hardcoded sycalls, anyway) However, if you are not using winelib, you can simply find ways to run commands which tell you which operating system you a...

I used to have this issue. The solution is just copying the program files folder to your computer manually, since the game runs like that. However, be aware of the issues with the game not starting and needing the CPU to be busy. I sketched up scripts for all my FM installs that got around 75% of my...

Football Manager 2012 crashes, with something related to Berkelium.dll. Berkelium provides offscreen browser rendering via chromium. I can't even get a trace (just like a bug reported on the Demo page) I read on the AppDB that people were managing to get the app running in Ubuntu. Then I realized (g...

Get configuration flags
Hello all. Not often do I ask a question myself, but here's one: How do I know which compile flags (and/or compiler toolkit) were used to build a wine binary that I may have? I'm asking this question because, somehow, my own compiled version of Wine can't run an application, even though binaries tha...

Ho-ly crap! Thanks to you guy, I'm finally able to get it working! This is AMAZING! After I tweaked the patch the last time, I stopped getting tapi32.dll errors. I started getting other errors, but those were resolved with some registry tweaks. You guys are the greatest! Thank you SO much! :) Glad ...

Hi. You .asoundrc seems fine. Note that applying asoundrc changes doesn't mean pulseaudio also applied its changes. ALSA can be restarted via a service, I'm sure. Pulseaudio I don't know.
